Welcome to the Guildford Athletic Club!

GAC is a soccer club dedicated to providing boys, girls and adults an opportunity to play organized soccer. Opportunities exist for players to play from a fun-filled non-competetive atmosphere to the highest level the sport can offer. The club promotes learning through the sport in a friendly environment. Small Sided Referee Clinics

Surrey United will be holding clinics on the following dates at the Surrey Clubhouse at Cloverdale Athletic Park:

**The BC Soccer Small Sided Clinic is a 1 day (8 hour) clinic that is offered to 12-14 year olds. Once an individual is successful in passing this clinic, they are classified as a Small Sided Referee and may officiate in any match with players between U-6 and U-12.

Clinic Fee:$40.00 (plus $4.25 user fee / system processing fee)

Entry Level Referee Clinics

Surrey United will be holding clinics on the following dates at the Surrey Clubhouse at Cloverdale Athletic Park:

Aug 11/12/13 2017

Oct 6/7/8 2017

**The goal of this three day clinic is to ensure that individuals who pass are capable to be either a Referee or an Assistant Referee in 11 a-side soccer. This is done with experienced referee instructors who use video educational material and practical on field sessions. The topics covered include, but are not limited to the Laws of the Game, Positioning, Signals, Administration of the game, and Pre-Match Preparation & Match Reporting. Successful individuals have their first year’s registration free.

Pre-requisite: Minimum 14 Years old by or on the day of the clinic
Clinic Length: 17 hours
Clinic Fee: $125.00 (plus a $4.25 user fee / system processing fee)

Clubhouse hours will be as follows for the Fall 2017/18 Season

      Tuesdays:   6:30pm to :830pm

      Saturdays:  10:00am to 12:00pm

Clubhouse is closed on Long Weekends

Clubhouse Address:  10320 146 Street (located between the two turf fields behind the Superstore on 104 Avenue)

Starting Sept. 12, GAC is offering free goalie training with goalie coach Michael Hicks, on the Hjorth grass field  - you do not need to register:

U8 - U10

  • Tuesdays:  4:30 - 5:30 pm
  • Thursdays:  4:30 - 5:30 pm

U11 - U12

  • Tuesdays:  5:30 - 6:30 pm
  • Thursdays:  5:30 - 6:30 pm

U13 & Up

  • Tuesdays:  6:30 - 7:30 pm
  • Thursdays:  6:30 - 7:30 pm

In October, the training will move to Turf 2, south/west corner. The Tuesday and Thursday sessions times will change to 45 min sessions. These free training sessions, are open to all GAC Goalkeepers or players interested in learning the position, sessions will be modified depending on the age, ability and number of participants.

Our Wednesday night Goalie Academy, that starts in October, is more comprehensive with a limited number of participants in each training group.  This Academy is a must for those wishing to truly elevate their goalkeeping skills.  

Please note:  The October goalie academy is not free, so once the online registration is open, you will need to register.
