GAC is a soccer club dedicated to providing boys, girls and adults an opportunity to play organized soccer. Opportunities exist for players to play from a fun-filled non-competetive atmosphere to the highest level the sport can offer. The club promotes learning through the sport in a friendly environment. Playing style varies and depends on the age of the player. Contact us if you would like additional information.
Guildford Athletic Club is excited to offer club affiliation for Adult Soccer for the upcoming season. Men will play in the Fraser Valley Soccer League (FVSL) or Vancouver Metro Soccer League (VMSL). Women will play in the Metro Women’s Soccer League (MWSL).
GAC will assist you with the submission of the new team application on behalf of the team upon request. There are fees associated with the application that are due to the leagues. These fees can be found on the league websites.
All prospective teams will be required to submit the Team name, contact information (phone #, cell # and email address) along with a list of players with addresses to GAC for affiliation.
All players must register with GAC at the same time as submission of the team application to the respective league.
GAC will provide assistance to the team with online registration of players to the league as required by the team manager/representative.
GAC will provide two complimentary tickets to the team for the annual GAC Social at the end of the Fall/Winter season as thanks for being with GAC.
GAC will provide field space for home games and practices (one per week unless otherwise requested), nets, corner flags, balls, pinnes, cones, and uniform rentals. A GAC training shirt will also be provided.
GAC will provide setup and take down of nets and corner flags for games on grass fields. GAC will provide corner flags for games on turf fields but the teams will be responsible for taking out and putting away flags at Hjorth turf fields.
Uniforms will be similar in style and colour to the Divisional uniforms currently used by the club. It is an expectation that teams affiliated with GAC will wear the GAC uniforms for all games. We realize that teams may have purchased other colours and we would ask that these be only worn in cases where colour conflicts with opponents occur.
Referees costs are to be paid on field by the team manager by each team at the time of the game. This is collected separately by the team at the start of the season.
Discipline fines for players/team/staff are the responsibility of the team/player subject to the disciplinary action. GAC is not responsible for fines incurred by the players/team/staff.
Purchase of uniforms is available upon request if interested in this option.
