GAC is a soccer club dedicated to providing boys, girls and adults an opportunity to play organized soccer. Opportunities exist for players to play from a fun-filled non-competetive atmosphere to the highest level the sport can offer. The club promotes learning through the sport in a friendly environment. Call for Nominations:
Guildford Athletic Club Soccer is now accepting candidates for its Board of Directors for terms commencing upon completion of the 2016-17 Annual General Meeting.
There are two-year terms for positions available: Vice-President, Secretary and four (4) coordinating Directors.
There is also a one year term available for Treasurer and for two (2) coordinating directors.
Candidates must be a member in good standing and must be nominated by a member in good standing as defined by the Guildford Athletic Club bylaws.
Candidates must submit the candidate form and a brief resume with vision statement to Jennifer Peckham, Club Secretary on or before May 17, 2017 to be considered for election to the GAC board of directors.
Only nominations received by May 17, 2017 will be considered for election.
Attending the AGM:
When a member in good standing attends the AGM, they must register their attendance. In order to provide appropriate time for processing and verification, it is suggested you arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the AGM. In order to respect the time of other attendees, the doors will close at the designated start time of the AGM. Do not forget to bring a valid picture ID to identify you and have the AGM administrators match it to the information in our registration database. Cellular phone use will not be permitted during the AGM.
