GAC is a soccer club dedicated to providing boys, girls and adults an opportunity to play organized soccer. Opportunities exist for players to play from a fun-filled non-competetive atmosphere to the highest level the sport can offer. The club promotes learning through the sport in a friendly environment. Playing style varies and depends on the age of the player. Contact us if you would like additional information.
As per LTPD guidelines, Guildford Athletic Club uses an ongoing player assessment model to evaluate all players. All player evaluation and assessment is overseen by the GAC Technical Director. The TD uses feedback from volunteer coaches, feedback from staff coaches and performance in weekly games and training sessions throughout the season to build an assessment of GAC players.
All U11 - U18 teams will undergo a final evaluation for individual player placement onto teams for the upcoming season. All players, regardless of level, should attend evaluations if they would like to be placed on a team. Typically, evalutions take place in March and April of each year for league play starting in September.
U8 - U10 Community and Development Teams
U8, U9 and U10 Community and Development teams are formed by the GAC technical staff based on a player's seasonal assessment. There are no 'tryouts' or 'final evaluations' for these age groups but we do offer two streams of play.

This level of play is available for U13 - U18 boys and girls. This level of play is for dedicated players that have well above average technical, tactical, physical and emotional ability. Typically players have several years of experience and soccer is usually their primary sport. It is not required to attend Metro evaluations in order to be considered for Divisional teams.
