Gear up for an exciting season of soccer with Guildford Athletic Club. Our fall program welcomes players from U3 (born 2022) to U18 (born 2008). This is our main soccer season where players develop skills, build friendships, and experience the joy of the game in a supportive environment.

Season Details

Season Duration: September to March


Practice and Game Schedule: Practices take place on weekday evenings, and games are played outdoors in all weather. There are no practices or games on long weekends.


Gym Sessions: U3 to U10 teams move inside to local gyms for weeknight training from mid or late October until March. Gym times and days may differ from outdoor sessions.


Uniforms: Uniforms are provided at the beginning of the season and must be returned at the end.


Equipment: Players from U6 to U18 must have shin pads and soccer cleats. Indoor gym sessions require gym shoes and shin pads.


Volunteers: Two volunteers are required for each team from U6 to U18.

U3–U4: Parent Tot

One staff-led training session per week with required parent participation.

Runs monthly from September to November and January to February.

Each session requires separate registration.

U5: Jr Mini’s

One staff-led training session per week.

Runs monthly from September to November and January to February.

Each session requires separate registration.

U6–U7: Mini’s

One staff and volunteer-led training session per week.

Weekend games led by volunteer coaches with staff support.

U8–U10: Community

One volunteer-led training session per week.

Weekend games led by volunteer coaches with technical staff oversight.

Travel may be required for some games.

U10 teams may be entered into the SFDA league.

U8–U10: Development

Invitation-only program.

Includes additional High Performance Academy sessions (charged separately).

Staff and volunteer-led training sessions during the week and weekend league play.

Teams may be entered into the PDS League with travel required.

U11–U12: Division 1

Invitation-only program.

Includes High Performance Academy sessions.

Staff and volunteer-led training with games on weekends led by staff coaches.

Teams entered into the BC Coastal Soccer League with travel required.

U11–U12: Division 2

Invitation-only program.

Two volunteer-led training sessions per week.

Advanced players may be invited to the High Performance Academy (additional cost).

Weekend games in the BC Coastal Soccer League with travel required.

U13–U14: Division 1 and 2

Invitation-only programs.

Staff or volunteer-led training sessions.

Weekend games in the BC Coastal Soccer League with travel required.

U15–U18: Division 1 and 2

Invitation-only programs.

Volunteer-led training sessions and weekend games led by volunteer coaches with technical staff oversight.

Teams entered into the BC Coastal Soccer League with travel required.

U11–U18: Division 3

Volunteer-led weekly training sessions.

Weekend games led by volunteer coaches with technical staff oversight.

Teams entered into the SFDA or BC Coastal Soccer League with travel required.

U18: Metro

Invitation-only program.

Staff-led training and weekend games led by staff coaches.

Teams entered into the BC Coastal Soccer League with travel required.

Payment & Refund Information


Payment:

• All cheques should be made payable to Guildford Athletic Club (GAC).

• A $25 service fee applies to any returned NSF cheques.


Family Discounts:


We offer family discounts! Here's how it works:

• Full fees apply for the first two registered children.

• The third (and any subsequent) child receives a 50% discount on registration fees.

Refund Requests:


To request a refund, please send an email to registrar@guildfordac.com

by the deadlines listed below. Your email should include the player's complete information and the reason for the refund request.

Refund Deadlines:


Fall Season: Refund requests must be received in writing by the registrar before August 1st.

Spring Season: Refund requests must be received in writing by the registrar before March 15th.


Processing Times:


Fall Season: Refunds will be processed after October 15th.

Spring Season: Refunds will be processed after May 15th.


Refund Fees:


Please note that all refunds are subject to a minimum $50 administration fee. Any district or BC Soccer fees paid on your behalf will also be deducted from the refund amount.


Non-Refundable Situations:


Refunds cannot be issued under the following circumstances:

• Players registering for Select, Div 1 / Div 2, or Development Teams.

• Players who have already been placed on a team.

• Players who quit voluntarily.

• Players who leave GAC to join another club.

• Players who are dismissed for disciplinary reasons.

• Refund requests not received by the registrar in writing before the applicable season deadline.

We encourage you to register early to avoid missing the refund deadline. If you have any questions regarding payments or refunds, please don't hesitate to contact our registrar at registrar@guildfordac.com.
