GOAL KEEPING ACADEMY 2023

We are happy to announce the following times for our 2023 Goalkeeping Program.

Michael Hicks has departed his role with GAC after many years of working with our Goalkeeping.

Michael is scaling back the amount of coaching he is doing and looking to enjoy more of retired life.

We thank Michael for his fantastic years at the club and wish him the best with all future endeavours.

We are happy to announce Jared St. Thomas will be leading the Goalkeeping Program this season.

Please See Jared's Bio Below:

Upon graduating, Jared played a year in the Netherlands before joining the University of Alberta, League 1 Ontario, and finally three years at Red Deer Polytechnic (where he received All-Conference honours). Jared is still playing today, with local Premier Team FC Tigers. In addition to the above playing experience, Jared also trained with Ottawa Fury, Cavalry FC, and very briefly with Vancouver FC.

Jared started coaching at his home club in Lacombe, AB when he was 14 and continued there and with the Red Deer Renegades until he was 18 and moved overseas. Since that time, Jared has coached with the Renegades and with Red Deer Polytechnic.
